Study the following information carefully and answer the below questions.
Eight persons – A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H were born in four different months viz.- January, April, August, and November. Only one person was born on either of the dates of each month viz.- 5 or 8. Each person gets different toffees on their birthday viz.- 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 21, and 26. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
A was born on an even date of the month having 31 days. Two persons were born between A and the one who gets 21 toffees. F was born three persons before the one who gets five toffees more than B. F was born on odd date and gets an even number of toffees. A was neither born in the same month along with F nor G, who gets an even number of toffees. The one who gets 26 toffees was born three persons after B. B was born just after H but not in the same month. The number of persons born between C and H is one less than the number of persons born after the one who gets 12 toffees. The number of toffees of G is twice the number of toffees of C.  Not more than three persons were born between G and the one who gets 9 toffees. E doesn’t get 15 toffees.

We have:
  • A was born on an even date of the month having 31 days.
  • Two persons were born between A and the one who gets 21 toffees.
That means, in case (1) A was born on 8th January, in case (2) A was born on 8th August.
  • F was born three persons before the one who gets five toffees more than B.
  • F was born on odd date and gets an even number of toffees.
  • A was neither born in the same month along with F nor G, who gets an even number of toffees.
That means, in case (1) F was born on 5th April, in case (2) F was born on 5th of January.
Based on the above given information we have:

Again, we have:
  • The one who gets 26 toffees was born three persons after B.
  • B was born just after H but not in the same month.
That means, in case (2) B was born just before A, case (1) is not valid.
  • The number of persons born between C and H is one less than the number of persons born after the one who gets 12 toffees.
That means, in case (2) C was born on April 5, in case (2a) C was born on Jan 8.
Based on the above given information we have:

Case (1) is not valid as the one who gets 26 toffees was born three persons after B, who was born just after H but not in the same month.
Again, we have:
  • The number of toffees of G is twice the number of toffees of C.
Since, only such possible combinations are (9, 18) and (13, 26).
That means, case (2) is not valid.
  • Not more than three persons were born between G and the one who gets 9 toffees.
That means, in case (2a) G gets 26 toffees, and H gets 14 toffees.
  • E doesn’t get 15 toffees.
Since, F gets an even number of toffees.
That means, in case (2a) D gets 15 toffees, and F gets 18 toffees.
Based on the above given information we have:

Case (2) is not valid as the number of toffees of G is twice the number of toffees of C.
