Direction:Study the information given below and answer the questions b...
The total number of passenger travelled in train A on Thursday = 520
The total number of passenger travelled in train A on Saturday = 130% of 520
= 520*(130/100) = 676
The total number of passenger travelled in train B on Tuesday = 600
The total number of passenger travelled in train B on Saturday = 80% of 600
= 600*(80/100) = 480
Total number of passenger travelled on Saturday in train A and train B together = 676+480 = 1156
The total number of passenger travelled in train A on Tuesday = 480
The total number of passenger travelled in train B on Tuesday = 600
Total passenger on Tuesday = 600+480 = 1080
Hence, required percentage = [(1156-1080) /1080]*100
= (76/1080)*100 = 7%(Approx)
