Given:

  • Time period, T = 0.60 s

  • Amplitude, A = 10.0 cm = 0.1 m

  • Displacement, x = A/2 = 0.05 m



Formula:

  • Mean velocity, v = x/T



Calculation:

  • Mean velocity, v = x/T

  • Substituting the given values, v = 0.05/0.60 = 0.0833 m/s
