What is the criteria for eligibility of jee advanced?
1. For applying for the JEE Advanced exam, the first step is to get the required JEE Main result . 2. Other than that, there is an age limit, wherein the candidate must have been born on or after October 1, 1992. SC, ST, and PwD categories get a relaxation of 5 years. Students who have appeared for the JEE Advanced once before can also apply, as the maximum number of attempts allowed is 2.3. Other requirement is that you must have cleared your class 12th; or an equivalent examination for the first time in either 2018 or in 2017 is an obvious criterion.4. The main eligibility criterion is the JEE Main result, and students with a rank higher than 2,20,000 are eligible for JEE Advanced. For 2018: Candidates should be among the top 2,24,000* (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2018.The percentages of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are: 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 50.5% is OPEN for all.
