We use democracy because democracy may not be the best form of government but it is better than any form of Government that we have. when compared to other forms of government for example the other forms of government that are dictatorship, socialism , monarchy etc democracy stands to give people equal rights, it also maintains peace in the country.

earlier there were many countries which were not democratic and they were following dictatorship or monarchy form of government. when there was scarcity of food or water in the country then the government was not accountable to its citizens this was because the people had not elected their representatives but in case of a democracy the government has to be accountable to its citizens . the government has to fulfill the needs of the citizens however possible . also in a democracy we get the chance to remove our rulers or to make our own rulers. the power to elect the rulers lies in the hands of the people so we can see that it provides equality to the people as one vote one person and one value. but if we see into in today's world there is equality which is really seen but in case of politics we see equality because of election which is only in democratic government
