It is given that it is an inelastic collision(both objects stick together).
 Thus k.e. will decreased and change in K.E.=mst(t=change in temperature)
 using colm
mv=2mV
V=v/2  (1)
change in K.E=v^2/4=mst
t=v^2/4s
