To be honest, I do not agree with answer that physical changes are temporary, atleast not all of them cause there are many exceptions and I have a couple of examples to prove my point. Lets take our growth(height) for consideration. We all know that increasing height is an example of physical change and once height of any individual increases it can't be decreased and reversed by any means. This physical change is not temporary. Lets take another example of cutting of limb of human being due to any accidient or injury. Now can that limb grow again? No right?! It will remain the same until transplanted and that too when the option of transplant is avaialble in medical science for that limb.So how can we say that all physical changes are temporary. Hence I think option c isn't the correct answer.
One might even argue that when the question talks about temporary changes what is the essence of being called "temporary". Is the term "temporary" implying to the fact that the changes which take place stay for a short period of time and then the object in consideration regains its original form? Cause if this is what the temporary meant in the question then option a i.e Periodic changes can even be called temporary.
