Thus
1)79.5 g/mol of CuO gives = 63.5 g/mol of Cu
1 g of CuO would give = (63.5/79.5) g of Cu
2.75 g of CuO will give = (63.5/79.50 x 2.75 =  2.1965g of Cu
Ratio of  Cu :CuO = 2.196/2.75 = 0.7985 
2) Ratio of Cu : CuO  = 2.196/2.952 = 0.7439
Since ratio of Cu : CuO is approximately equal in both cases . Therefore amount of Cu in CuO is in fixed ratio with O.
Hence Law of constant composition is proved .
