dated the unearthed artefacts from Keeladi to a period between the
sixth century BCE and the first century BCE.
The findings in th
e TNSDA report placed Keeladi artefacts about 300 years earlier than
the previously believed third century BCE.
A recent ASI report in 2015 discovered Keeladi, has pushed the Sangam age to
800 BCE based on these archaeological findings.
