A body travels 10m in first three seconds and 15 m in the next four se...
Let's consider initial velocity is u and acceleration is a and 8th sec velocity is v..

we will this equation S=ut+0.5at2 as shown below

10 = u*3 +0.5 *a*3*3 -----1
25 = u*7 + 0.5*a*7*7 ------2
eq 1 => u=(10-4.5*a)/3

Putting above value in eq 2 we get

25 = ((10-4.5*a)*7)/3 + a*24.5
So, a = 5/42 and u =3.15
Now, v = 3.15 + 5/42(8)
So, v=4.1 m/s

Given information:
- The body travels 10m in the first three seconds.
- The body travels 15m in the next four seconds.

Calculating the average velocity:
To find the velocity at the end of the 8th second, we need to calculate the average velocity for the entire 8-second interval.

Average velocity = Total displacement / Total time

Calculating total displacement:
To calculate the total displacement, we need to add up the distances traveled in the first three seconds and the next four seconds.

Total displacement = Distance traveled in the first three seconds + Distance traveled in the next four seconds

Calculating distance traveled in the first three seconds:
Given that the body travels 10m in the first three seconds.

Distance traveled in the first three seconds = 10m

Calculating distance traveled in the next four seconds:
Given that the body travels 15m in the next four seconds.

Distance traveled in the next four seconds = 15m

Calculating total displacement:
Total displacement = 10m + 15m = 25m

Calculating total time:
The total time is given as 8 seconds.

Total time = 8 seconds

Calculating average velocity:
Average velocity = 25m / 8 seconds

Answer:
The velocity at the end of the 8th second is 3.125 m/s.

Explanation:
- The average velocity is calculated by dividing the total displacement by the total time.
- In this case, the total displacement is obtained by adding up the distances traveled in the first three seconds and the next four seconds.
- The total time is given as 8 seconds.
- Therefore, the average velocity is calculated to be 25m / 8 seconds, which equals 3.125 m/s.
