THE LOST CHILD is a story written by MULK RAJ ANAND the author of a famous story called THE COLLIE the story is about a child goes to fair with his parents. He is happy and excited about and wants the sweet and toys displayed there . but his parents don't buy them for him . Whenever he says to buy something for him his father's eye turns red and with a humble request his mom says him "look , child , what is before you !" He got fascinating by different things there but he knows what would be the reply of his mom & dad if he asks them so he kept quiet every time . But after some distance he came across a beautiful ride called roundabout . and he thought to ask his parents about this but then he found that there is no sign of his mother and father and he got frightened . A full , deep cry rose within his dry throat . he searched his mother and father by running here & there but he won't found them . He started crying out . Then he came a across a man who offered him everything that the child sees and got fascinating and tried to ask his parents . But then he doesn't seems to interested in any those but in his MOTHER AND FATHER !!
