Statement-1 : For a disc undergoing fixed axis rotation, the magnitude...
Explanation:

Statement 1: For a disc undergoing fixed axis rotation, the magnitude of angle between velocity and acceleration vector of any moving point on disc at a particular instant of time are same.

This statement is true. When a disc rotates about a fixed axis, each point on the disc moves in a circular path with the same angular speed. Since the direction of the velocity vector is always tangent to the circular path, the direction of the velocity vector is also the same for all points on the disc. Similarly, the direction of the centripetal acceleration vector is always towards the center of the circular path and is also the same for all points on the disc. Therefore, the angle between the velocity and acceleration vector is always the same for all points on the disc.

Statement 2: Each moving point on a disc undergoing fixed axis rotation has the same angular speed and the same angular acceleration at an instant of time. Hence the ratio of the magnitude of the tangential acceleration and the magnitude of the centripetal acceleration is the same for all moving points at an instant of time.

This statement is also true. Since all points on the disc move in circular paths with the same angular speed, they all have the same tangential acceleration. The magnitude of the tangential acceleration is given by a = rα, where r is the radius of the circular path and α is the angular acceleration. Since all points on the disc have the same angular acceleration, they all have the same magnitude of tangential acceleration. Similarly, the magnitude of the centripetal acceleration is given by v²/r, where v is the speed of the point on the circular path. Since all points on the disc have the same speed, they all have the same magnitude of centripetal acceleration. Therefore, the ratio of the magnitudes of tangential and centripetal accelerations is the same for all points on the disc at any instant of time.

Statement 2 is a correct explanation for Statement 1, as the same magnitude of tangential and centripetal acceleration have the same ratio for all points on the disc, the angle between velocity and acceleration vectors at any instant of time is the same for all points on the disc. Hence, option (A) is the correct answer.
