The correct answer is option D, Veerasalingam Pantulu.

Veerasalingam Pantulu was a social reformer from Andhra Pradesh, India, who worked for the upliftment of women and the lower castes in the 19th century. He was often called the "Vidyasagar of the south" for his efforts in bringing social reforms similar to those brought about by Ishwara Chandra Vidyasagar in Bengal.

One of Pantulu's major contributions was the founding of the Widow Remarriage Association in the Telugu-speaking areas of the Madras Presidency. This association worked towards promoting widow remarriage, which was a taboo in traditional Hindu society at the time.

Pantulu also worked towards the education of women and founded the Hindu Ladies Social Club in 1889. He was also a strong advocate for the abolition of caste discrimination and promoted inter-caste marriages.

Overall, Veerasalingam Pantulu's contributions to social reform in Andhra Pradesh were significant and helped pave the way for greater gender and caste equality in the region.
