Why is roling friction is low than static friction?
In rolling friction, the object does not get enough time to make bonds with the irregularities of the surface and the irregularities are unable to stop the object for longer time..On the other hand, in static friction the objects irregularities get totally attached to the irregularities of the surface and make bonds with them. when we try to move the object the bonds are difficult to break and hence, static friction is more than rolling friction.

Why is roling friction is low than static friction?
Rolling friction must always be less than sliding friction, because in order for an object to roll, the force of friction between it and the surface must be large enough to keep the object from sliding.
Why is roling friction is low than static friction?
This is because in static friction the object is on rest whereas in the rolling friction the object is rolling on the surface . so are we required to apply more force on it to move it hence it is having more friction and in other case the object is already moving so we don't need to apply more force on it so it is having less friction. hope it helps. please upvote.
