Plz ans the ques its urgent - 1. What will happen when cell membrane w...
1. Plasma membrane is a selectively permeable membrane that separates and protect the cell contents from the surrounding medium.
If the plasma membrane is ruptured , the Cell Contents may leak out of the Cell and the process of Diffusion And Osmosis will be disturbed which will eventually lead to the death of the Cell and it’s content.
2. Cytoplasm contains molecules such as enzymes which are responsible for breaking down waste and also aid in metabolic activity. Cytoplasm is responsible for giving a cell its shape. It helps to fill out the cell and keeps organelles in their place.
3. A gene is the basic physical and functional unit of heredity. Genes are made up of DNA. Some genes act as instructions to make molecules called proteins. ... Every person has two copies of each gene, one inherited from each parent.
4. Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things. The human body is composed of trillions of cells. They provide structure for the body, take in nutrients from food, convert those nutrients into energy, and carry out specialized functions.
5. The protoplasmic or living components are—nucleus, mitochondria, plastids, endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, lysosomes, sphaerosomes, microtubules and Golgi bodies. The chief non-protoplasmic or non-living components are—vacuoles, food products, secretory products and waste products.
6. The study of cell and it's contents is called Cytology. ... In simple definition cytology is a branch of biology that deals with the scientific study of structure ,organization ,chemistry ,physiology and function of the cell.
7. Ernest Rutherford
The atomic nucleus is the small, dense region consisting of protons and neutrons at the center of an atom, discovered in 1911 by Ernest Rutherford based on the 1909 Geiger–Marsden gold foil experiment.
8. Mycoplasma are a mollicute genus of bacteria that lack a cell wall around their cell membranes. This characteristic makes them naturally resistant to many common antibiotics such as penicillin or other beta-lactam antibiotics that target cell wall synthesis. They can be parasitic or saprotrophic.
