Akbar the great one of the greatest ruler of Indian history .Akbar wanted to unite the warring world under one authority as other mughal ruler tried but the way of unification was severly diffrent from other mughal ruler. He did his best to bring the whole India under one rule by a uniform system of administration,judicial,and currency measures and agricultural and commercial reforms. Precisely he was well known for his religious reforms and kind of being liberal toward every religion ,as he himself gave islam a/q to Dr.V.a smith Akbar was sort of parsi sufi hindu.Akbar was not an orthodox muslim of the rigid type as he always remembers the words of his father 'babur suggested him once that if you want to rule all over India you have to accept each and every religion very politely' .Ibadat khana or the house of hindu worship was specially constructed for religious discussion which not only indulged islamic preacher but brahmin , christian,jain etc.This made him more popular among common people, abolition of jaziya,abolition of pilgrim tax abolishment of enslavement of wives and children all this collectively made him a great reformist . He lead war which was not an annexation he fought bravely and did alliance with rajputs followed the policy of reconciliation that's why he is well known as the founder of mughal empire

Mansabdari system and land revenue system played key role in his greatness ,he understood the utmost need of common people which was agriculture .

Indeed he was a great king for he knew that the good ruler is he who command simultaneously the obedience ,the respect ,love,and the fear of his subjects.
