What are the principles of Immunisation?
Immunisation is the protection of individuals from communicable diseases by administration of a suspension of dead micro-organisms. This is the stimulation of immune system in the body to produce memory cells which further can detect disease causing pathogens and immediately eliminate them before causing the disease. Infants acquire this immunity from mother during birth and lactation. Two types of responses exhibited by human body are primary immune response and secondary response.

What are the principles of Immunisation?
The basic principle of immunization is that on administration of vaccine, the body starts developing antibodies against it such that person is protected form disease. Body remembers the infectious agents and memory cells are formed which can immediately produce antibodies on further exposure to the infectious agents.
