Write your experience about Indian wedding which are full of grandeur,...

Dear diary,
Today I attended a wedding; I was shocked to see such an extravagant wastage of wealth.Thousands of people were wasting food. They were throwing half-eaten plates full of food into the bins. Thousands of lights were wastefully running. I felt so sad to think of the contrast between the rich and the poor in our country. There are millions of people who live below poverty line. Our country is the country of paradoxes. On one hand the government has launched 'Save Power Campaign' and ‘Save Food Campaign’ on the other hand it is turning blind eye to the large scale wastage of food, electricity and fuel in the name of ostentatious weddings, parties, and other celebrations. The government must make power consumption and food consumption regulation policy at marriage palaces and wedding resorts. People must also realize such wastage is an obstacle in the course of our country's progress.
Your name,
Thankyou.

My Dairy Entry on Indian Wedding
Indian weddings are an epitome of grandeur, glamour, and luxury. Being a part of one such wedding was an unforgettable experience. The wedding was a four-day affair, and each day was filled with festivities and celebrations.
Pre-wedding functions
The pre-wedding functions started with the Haldi ceremony, followed by the Mehendi and Sangeet. The Haldi ceremony was a traditional ritual where turmeric paste was applied to the bride and groom's face and body. The Mehendi ceremony was all about the bride's hands and feet being adorned with intricate henna designs. The Sangeet was a night filled with music, dance, and entertainment.
Wedding day
The wedding day was the most important day, and it was a sight to behold. The groom arrived on a horse, and the bride was brought in a beautifully decorated car. The wedding ceremony was a traditional affair, and every ritual was performed with utmost precision and dedication.
Post-wedding functions
The post-wedding functions included the Vidaai and the reception. The Vidaai was an emotional farewell of the bride from her family, and the reception was a grand celebration where the newlyweds were welcomed into their new family.
The experience
The entire wedding was an experience of a lifetime. The extravagant decor, the mouth-watering food, the stunning outfits, and the joyous celebrations made it a memorable event. The bride and groom looked like royalty, and every detail was meticulously planned to perfection.
Conclusion
Indian weddings are a celebration of love, family, and tradition. They are a feast for the senses and leave a lasting impression on anyone who is a part of them. Being a part of such a wedding was a privilege, and I will cherish the memories forever.
