It is home to several endangered species such as the snow leopard, Tibetan wolf, and Eurasian brown bear. The park is located at a distance of 40 kilometers from Leh and can be easily accessed by road.
Kishtwar National Park
Kishtwar National Park is located in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir and covers an area of 400 square kilometers. It was established in 1981 and is known for its scenic beauty and diverse flora and fauna. It is home to several endangered species such as the Himalayan black bear, snow leopard, and musk deer. The park is located at a distance of 220 kilometers from Jammu and can be easily accessed by road.
Salamander National Park
Salamander National Park is located in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir and covers an area of 141 square kilometers. It was established in 1981 and is known for its rich biodiversity. It is home to several endangered species such as the hangul, musk deer, and Kashmir flying squirrel. The park is located at a distance of 105 kilometers from Srinagar and can be easily accessed by road.
