According to section 11,"Every person is competent to contract who is of the age of majority,according to the law to which he is subject, and who is of sound mind and is not disqualified from contracting by any law to which he is subject."
To understand this definition easily, it can be divided into 3 parts:-
A person is capable to contract if
1. he has attained the age of majority that means he is above or equal to age of 18.
2.He is of sound mind and not insane or drunked or unsound mind.
3.The person who is not disqualified by law to enter into contract.
The reasons of disqualification might be political or legal status or insolvency.
