Defence and Security

The Republic of India has world’s 3rd largest military force and has the world’s largest volunteer army. It consists of three services: the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force.

The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Force. However, the Cabinet is responsible for National Defence.
