Read the Passage and Answer the Questions That Follow. (Question 31 to 35)
Henry Ford, an American industrialist, founder of the Ford Motor Company, is famous for making cars easier for most people to buy. He did this by producing the cars using an assembly line.
Henry Ford was bom in 1863, in Springwells Township, Michigan. He had 4 siblings, and his family owned a farm. When he was young, he worked on the farm, but he soon realized that he loved taking things apart to see how they worked, then putting them b a ck to g e th e r again. Initially, he worked on watches a lot and ended upL helping many people fix their watches. In 1879, when he was 16 years old, he moved to Detroit to start working with machines, though he did come home and worked on the farm a little, too.
Ford got married to Clara Bryant in 1888, and worked on a sawmill. He eventually became an engineer. He also worked for the E dison Illu m in atin g C om pany and even got to meet Thomas Edison. Edison encouraged him to keep working on his plans for his horseless carriage, powered by a motor. Ford’s gasoline-powered horseless carriage was named as the Quadricycle.
He sold the Quadricycle and started his own company to continue his work making vehicles. He did not stay with the first company for very many years, but eventually started the Ford Motor Company. He spent many years developing cars, which were made only a few at a time.
Ford was not the first person to create a car, but he was the one who began to m ake them accessible to a lot o f people in the United States. In 1908, his “Model T” car was launched. It was easy to drive and to repair, and hence attracted many people in the US to want one. He needed to make a lot of cars in a short period of time, so his company, Ford Motor Company, hired skilled workers to work on an assembly line. The car would move through the line, and each worker had a job along the line. One worker might put on the steering wheel, while at a different spot on the line, another worker put on tyres. Every Model T was painted black.
In this way, the company made many cars at a time which made its manufacturing costless and hence cheaper to produce.
In addition to using the assembly line to produce cars, Ford was also known for paying his workers fair wages. Henry Ford died in 1947, but his company, Ford Motor Company, one of the leading producers of automobiles is still around and making cars today.

Read the Passage and Answer the Questions That Follow. (Question 36 to 40)
At times we eat for the right reasons. When we are hungry, is the first example that comes to mind. As simple as it sounds, you may be surprised to know how often people eat; when they think they are hungry when it is a craving instead. Since we are naturally inclined to make mistakes, there are also times when we eat for the wrong reasons. An extreme craving is worth-noting. More importantly, the most anxious moments are when we eat out of boredom or worse; when we seek comfort in food. We have all been there, so you are not alone. But if you are still guilty of doing this from time to time , it is time to make some changes. Emotional eating is not health y . It is dangerous. You begin to lose control the moment you start. Predictably, those who eat for emotional reasons also tend to develop health problems. Type 2 diabetes and obesity are two common consequences of emotional eating since it of ten leads to weight gain and high blood sugar readings. If you seek comfort in food, it is time to stop. To be fair, there is a chance you do this unknowingly. Reflect on your eating habits and where your health currently stands. If there is anything about your health that is concerning, there is a good chance you are guilty of seeking comfort in food to some extent. To stop this behaviour, you need to realize that food is not primarily a source of pleasure. While it can be pleasing to eat, especially when you are hungry, you must eat for sustenance to provide your body with what it needs to function. You can of course still eat for pleasure. You don’t have to forego your favourite foods. But you do have to stop unrestrained eating and learn to moderate your portions. If you are stressed out, then read a good book before bed. If you are craving for food then exercise it off, and follow-up your workout with a satisfying, but sensible meal. What you must stop is mindless eating because it raises your glucose level and expands your waistline.
Do not eat when you are not hungry. A good test for this is to ask yourself if you could eat an apple whenever you think about food. If the answer is no or if you would prefer something else, it is because you are not hungry enough or are just looking for an emotional reward. Lastly, it should help you to drink a glass of water each time you think about eating. Chronic thirst can lead you to eat for comfort when you should be hydrating yourself instead.

Q36: Based on your understanding, select the most appropriate title for the passage.
(a) Hunger
(b) Emotional Eating
(c) Nutritious Meals
(d) Food For All
