The tiger is a wild animal that has been chosen as India's national animal by the government. It's known as one of the fiercest animals in the jungle and can jump really far. Tigers have sharp teeth, a long tail, and come in different colors, but they all have black stripes. They can run fast and jump far because of their special padded feet and sharp claws. 

Tigers seem calm but are very clever and can catch their prey from a long way off. Tigers eat meat and really like blood and flesh. Tigers are strong and can grab their prey quickly with their powerful jaws and sharp claws. They usually hunt at night and sleep during the day. They like to eat the flesh of other animals like cows, deer, goats, and sometimes even humans.

Tigers are called the "lords of the jungle" because they represent the rich wildlife of the country. They are respected for their strength, grace, power, and agility. India is home to about half of the world's tiger population.

But unfortunately, the number of tigers in the world has dropped a lot, mostly because people used to hunt them for fun or to show off. Now, hunting tigers is banned, but they're still in danger because of things like cutting down forests and breaking up their homes. Tigers are hunted for their fur, teeth, and other body parts.
But, we can take steps to help tigers survive. We need to make strict rules to protect them and stop people from trading, hunting, or hurting them. It's also important to tell others about the problem and to stop cutting down forests where tigers live. If we work together, we can save the tigers from disappearing forever.
