The fair maid came out and said. “I will hire you with a smile.”

 शाम  हो गई बाग की बाड पर फूल लदे थे एक सुन्दर लडकी आकर बोली  मैं तुम्हे अपनी मुस्कराहट देकर खरीद लूॅगी उसकी मुस्कराहट गीकी पड गई तथा गिर आॅसुओं में बदल गई, और वह अकेली ही अंधेरे में वापिस चली गई |

सूर्य रेत पर चमक रहा था, और सागर की लहरें बेतरतीब बिखर रही थीं, एक बच्चा कौडियों से खेल रहा थाब उसने अपना सिर उठाया और उसने ऐसे देखा मानो मुझेे जानता होब वह बोला मैं तुम्हें बिना पारिश्रमिक के नौकरी दूॅगा उससे हमारा सौदा पक्का हो गया मैं उसके साथ खेलने लगा और स्वयं को आजाद व्यक्ति पाया |
