Rao Gopal Singh Kharwa

• Gopal Singh (1872–1939), born in Rajasthan, was the ruler of the Kharwa state (near Ajmer) of Rajputana. He was sentenced to four years of imprisonment in the Todgarh Fort located approximately 70 kilometres (43 mi) from Beawar for organising a revolt against the British. He was president of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha for the year 1924.

• In 1989, India's postal department issued a postage stamp depicting his picture in his honor.
• Every spring on the anniversary of his death, the residents of Kharwa and nearby villages gather at a mela (celebration or fair) to commemorate their former Thakur. He was a Rathore Rajput by birth and believed in upholding the duties of a Rajput ruler towards his people at all costs.

Lothoo Nitharwal

• Lothoo Nitharwal (1804–1855) was a Jat freedom fighter from Rajasthan, India. He wanted to overturn the role of the East India Company in India, establish democracy and also free people from exploitation by jagirdars.
• Nitharwal is referred to by numerous other names, including Lothoo Jat, Lothoo Singh, Lothoo Ram, Loth, Lothan, Lot, Lotia, and Lohat.

Sagarmal Gopa

• Sagarmal Gopa (3 November 1900 – 4 April 1946) was a freedom fighter and patriot from Rajasthan, India. He took active part in the non-cooperation movement in 1921. He opposed anti-people policies of then rulers of Jaisalmer. He was expelled from Jaisalmer and Hyderabad. Even in exile he continued to work for freedom movement. After his father's death, on his return to Jaisalmer he was arrested on 25 May 1941. He was tortured in prison for years. He was burnt to death in the prison on 4 April 1946.
• The Government of India issued a postage stamp in 1986 in honour of Sagarmal Gopa. A branch of Indira Gandhi Canal is named after him.

Pratap Singh Baharat

• Pratap Singh Baharat was an independence activist from Rajasthan. He took prominent part in the revolutionary movement against British rule in India. He was son of Kesri Singh Baharat.

• Born on 24 May 1893 at Udaipur in Udiapur District in Indian state of Rajasthan he joined the Revolutionary Party as a follower of Ras Bihari Bose. He participated in the revolutionary plot to throw a bomb at Lord Hardinge, Viceroy of India on 3 December 1912. His uncle Jorawar Singh Barhat was also in that group. He was arrested in Banaras Conspiracy Case and was sentenced in Feb 1916 to five years RI. He was subjected to brutal torture in Bareilly Central Jail to force him to divulge the names of his compatriots. He refused. He died in the jail on 7 May 1918 as an unsung hero.

Daulat Mal Bhandari

• Daulat Mal Bhandari was Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court in India, a member of the first Lok Sabha and a freedom fighter. Bhandari took active part in the freedom struggle. In 1942 he formed the "Azad Morcha" in Jaipur and staged satyagrah. He was imprisoned for nine months. He also organised ‘Praja Mandal’ in Jaipur State. During the partition of India, he contributed in the rehabilitation of refugees from Sindh and Western Punjab.
• He served as the Development and Agriculture Minister of Jaipur State in 1947 on being elected to the state's Legislative Assembly. Bhandari was a member of the Lok Sabha from 1952 to 1955 representing the Jaipur parliamentary constituency of Rajasthan.
• Bhandari was a senior advocate on the rolls of the Bar Council of India. He was appointed a judge of the Rajasthan High Court in 1955 and he rose to become the Chief Justice there in 1968.

Daulatram Saran

• Daulatram Saran (born 13 January 1924; died 2 July 2011) was a parliamentarian, state minister and leader in Rajasthan, India. His belief and practice of Gandhian principles resulted in him being also known as Thar Ka Gandhi. His contribution towards the welfare of the farmers has earned him the title of Kisano Ka Messiah. He was born in village Dhani-Panchera of district Churu in Rajasthan. His mother’s name was Bhuri Devi and wife was Jadav Devi.
• Daulatram Saran was educated at the government high school in Sardarshahar. He joined the Indian independence movement in response to the efforts of Mahatma Gandhi.
• 1945-48: He was connected with "Bikaner Rajya Praja Parishad" as a member of Pratinidhi Sabha. He took part in the formation of popular government in the princely state of Bikaner. He played an important role in the awakening of farmers of princely state Bikaner and united them against the exploitation by Jagirdars.

Swami Keshwanand

• Swami Keshwanand (12 March 1883 – 13 September 1972) was an Indian freedom fighter and social reformer. The Jalianwalla Bagh Massacre of 1919, which caused a profound impact on the collective psyche of the Punjab, left Swami Keshawanand profoundly moved. He started attending the meetings of the Indian National Congress, joined the Indian Independence Movement under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, and participated in the non-co-operation movement, for which was imprisoned for two years (1921–1922) at Ferozepur. 
• In 1930, he was given charge of Congress activities in Ferozepur district. He was again arrested the same year, but was soon released pursuant to the Gandhi-Irwin pact.

Harlal Singh

• Harlal Singh was a campaigner in the farmers' movement of colonial India, described by Richard Sisson as "the single most important Jat leader in Shekhawati." Recruited to politics by the Jat Mahasabha, he remained a member of that organisation from 1925 to 1929, at which time many people left it. There were growing concerns that the Mahasabha, which had been created by the British Raj administration, was being used by the Raj as a means of pacifying the Jat people by at once affirming their community's position in society but also preventing change. 
• Later, in the 1940s, Singh served as president of an urban-based political protest movement, called the Praja Mandal, and was an important conduit between the urban and agrarian communities in their efforts seeking independence of India. Post-independence, and with the Praja Mandals now a part of the Indian National Congress, he was appointed by the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee as their organiser in the former princely state of Jaipur.

Vijay Singh Pathik

• Vijay Singh Pathik alias Bhoop Singh (1882–1954), popularly known as Rashtriya Pathik,  was Indian revolutionary. He was among the first Indian revolutionaries who lit the torch of freedom movement against British rule. Much before Mohandas K. Gandhi initiated the Satyagrah movement, Pathik experimented during the Bijolia’s Kisan agitation. 
• His real name was Bhoop Singh, but after being implicated in the Lahore conspiracy case in 1915, he changed his name to Vijay Singh Pathik. His grandfather's sacrifice in the struggle of 1857 in Bulandshahr district, affected him deeply to be freedom fighter and rovolutionis.

Rao Tula Ram

• Rao Tularam Singh (circa 9 December 1825 – 23 September 1863) king of Rewari was one of the key leaders of the Indian rebellion of 1857 in Haryana, where he is considered a state hero. 
• He is credited with temporarily driving all of the British rule from the south-west Haryana during the rebellion, and also helping rebel forces fighting in the historic city of Delhi with men and money. Noted as a good administrator and military commander.
