• Koil Sagar Dam is a medium-sized irrigation project built at a cost of Rs. 80 crores during the Nizam government period from 1945-1948.

How to Reach

• The nearest airport to Mayuri Haritha Vanam is Shamshabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.
• Tourists can also reach the park by train, getting off at Mahabubnagar Station and taking private vehicles or TSRTC ordinary buses towards Jadcherla.
• The park is situated near NH-44 (Bangalore highway), approximately 8 km from Jadcherla Bus Stop.
• TSRTC Services: Daily bus services are available from Hyderabad to Mahabubnagar and other places. TSRTC also operates ordinary buses towards Jadcherla.
