Q.3. Explain the badminton technique you like the most. Why?

The badminton technique that I like the most is:
Service: Service is the important part in the badminton which every learner had to learn it before playing badminton. There are three types of services to be done as high, low and flat. While doing the service high, we have to keep this three points in minds those are:
(i) Stance: To do a high service, the player who is doing service is expected to keep a distance of 2 feet from the small/ short line and six inches from the center
The player should stand in such a way that the player must stand in a position that he should not touch the center line, as it may result/ announced as touch fault/foul. He should stand at ease/comfortably with two feet’s spread apart, and parallel to each other. The position of the body while doing service should more on back foot.
(ii) Point of contact: As the player starts to hit the shuttle with the racket slowly (service), the weight of the body is slowly shifted from the back foot to the front foot. As the player hits the shuttle with the racket high again he has to come back to the baseline. The player should make sure the point of contact is below the waist.
(iii) Follow-through: Once the service is dine, the player starts to move the racket right across the left shoulder (or right shoulder) in case if the player is lefty (left handed). Such technique/method is called a follow-through.

In the olden days ( i.e 12th century A.D) the table tennis game was been played as the Royal games.by the end of 19th century the table tennis was played in England. In the year 1890, England David Poster started the theme of playing table tennis on table. And after one year John Jaques introduced a new game called as Gossima.  In the year 1900, John Jaques even introduced a ball which was known as Ping Pong. In the 1926, the ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) was been founded and its headquarters were established at Berlin. In Seoul, South Korea, the Olympics was held where ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) was introduced and that year was 1988. The First World Championships pf Table Tennis was organized in London in the year 1926. In the year 1926, there was a federation was founded in India names as TTFI (Table Tennis Federation of India) at Calcutta which is presently known as Kolkata.
