1. What is the difference between LCM and HCF?

Ans. The Least Common Multiple (LCM) of two or more integers is the smallest multiple that is exactly divisible by each of the integers. In contrast, the Highest Common Factor (HCF), also known as the Greatest Common Divisor (GCD), is the largest integer that divides each of the integers without leaving a remainder. Essentially, LCM focuses on common multiples, while HCF focuses on common factors.

Ans. LCM can be calculated using the prime factorization method, where each number is expressed as a product of prime factors, and the LCM is determined by taking the highest power of each prime that appears in the factorization of any of the numbers.
