The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam is a national level competitive test conducted annually to recruit eligible candidates for various Group B and Group C posts in the central government departments and ministries of India. SSC will hold a computer-based examination with 100 multiple-choice questions. There are 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL, with 100 questions that account for a total of 200 marks.
For every incorrect answer, you will lose 0.50 marks. There is no specific cut-off for each section. If you do not attempt a question or leave it blank, no marks will be deducted.

Note: 60 minutes(For VH & Candidates suffering from Cerebral Palsy: 80 minutes).

Tier 2 Exam Pattern

• The Staff Selection Commission is holding the SSC CGL Tier-2 exam in three parts: Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3.
• Paper 1 is mandatory for all positions.
• Paper 2 is solely for applicants seeking the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) roles in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
• Paper 3 is exclusively for candidates applying for Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer positions.
• Incorrect answers on Paper 1 will result in a 1-mark deduction, while wrong responses on Papers 2 and 3 will incur a 0.50-mark penalty.
