  • He used to pluck and eat bananas from the tree every day.
  • One day he observed that the banana tree was drooping.
  • Because of the lack of water the tree became so dull since it had not rained for a long time.
  • Appu thought that the tree needed water.
  • So Appu went to the area where there was a lot of water present.
  • Appu went to the river.
  • Appu drank water, bathed his body, and after that he carried water in his trunk.
  • Appu poured that water on that banana tree.
  • After getting water the banana tree was again alive.
  • Appu said that he will bring water for the banana tree every day.
  • He was grateful to the tree for giving him so many tasty and ripe bananas.
