Summary: The Water Cycle | Class 3 English Alive

  • The poem “The Water Cycle” is written by Halen H. Moore.
  • In this poem the poet said that when she was young, she used to think that water came from the kitchen sink, but as she grew older she came to know that water actually came from the rain and snow.
  • The water stays up in the sky in the form of clouds and when the time comes it falls down in the form of the rain and snow.
  • The water falls down noisily and gushes down to the ocean, seas, rivers and stream.
  •  From these water bodies the water again evaporates and goes up to the sky to form clouds and this cycle continues over and over again.
  • While the water is in the ground, some of them also reaches to our kitchen and bathroom and we use it for our daily needs.
