Villagers thank the Sun God for his light and 
warmth
Sunlight helps seeds sprout and crops grow 
strong
They offer songs, garlands, golden fields, and 
fruits in gratitude
Musical instruments like cymbals and flutes 
show joy
Surya is praised as the giver of life and radiance
Stanza 2  
Villagers praise Varuna, the god of rain and 
oceans
Rain is shown as merciful, helping fields and 
grains grow
They thank him for watering the land and 
ripening crops
They bring garlands and fresh produce as 
offerings
Cymbals and pipes celebrate the blessing of 
rainfall
Stanza 3 
Women praise Mother Earth as the queen of 
flowers and harvest
Earth is shown as a nurturing mother with a 
womb that gives life
She provides food, riches, and joy for all people
Women bring garlands and gifts of harvest as 
tribute
Cymbals and drums express love and respect 
for the Earth
Stanza 4 
Everyone joins to praise the Supreme Lord of 
the universe
He is the eternal father, source of all life, too great 
to describe
Called both the "Seed" (beginning) and "Scythe" 
(end) of harvests
Villagers offer their lives, labour, and prayers for 
his guidance and care
Poem ends with cymbals and prayer, showing 
devotion and unity
