1. and: 
 (i) Sneha loves light music. Sneha loves dance.

2. but:

3. or, otherwise: 
 (i) Run fast. You will not win the trophy.

4. unless: 
 (i) Unless you study well, you will not pass.
 (ii) I won’t let you go from here unless you give me some tips to stay healthy. 

5. therefore, so: 
 (i) I have a headache. I cannot go to play.
 (ii) I have a headache, therefore I cannot go to play.
 (iii) I have a headache, so I cannot go to play. 

6. because, since: 
 (i) He could not attend the meeting. He was ill.
 (ii) He could not attend the meeting because he was ill.
 (iii) Since he was ill, he could not attend the meeting. 

7. as well as: 
 (i) My mother purchased books. My mother purchased copies.
 (ii) My mother purchased books as well as copies. 

8. whereas, while: 
 (i) Rama was of cool nature. Lakshmana was aggressive.
 (ii) Rama was of cool nature whereas (or while) Lakshmana was aggressive. 

9. either ..... or: 
 (i) Keep quiet. Go outside.
 (ii) Either keep quiet or go outside.  

10. neither ..... nor: 
 (i) He is not helpful. He is not reliable.
 (ii) He is neither helpful nor reliable.

11. though, although, still: 
 (i) He was not selected. He worked day and night.
 (ii) He was not selected though he worked day and night.
 (iii) Although he worked day and night, he was not selected.
 (iv) He worked day and night still he was not selected.
