Subject- Filling complaint for a defect in purchase no. MS-845/07/2020
Dear Sir
I hereby write to complain regarding the defect in the music system w.r.t bill no. MS-845/07/2020 was purchased on 11 January 2021 from your store.
The music system worked properly for one month but it has not been functioning properly for the past three days. The sound breaks whilst the songs are being played and the system hangs multiple times. Coupled with this, the songs stop playing abruptly and require the system to be restarted. Since the music system is still in the warranty period of six months, I wish to get it replaced at the earliest.
I request you to look into this matter without any delay and provide a new working music system of the same brand. I have enclosed a copy of the bill of purchase for your reference. Looking forward to your early response.
Thanking you
Yours truly

Subject: Request for increasing library facilities.
Respected Sir,
On behalf of the students of the school, I would like to inform you that there is a library in our school but the condition of it is very bad. Books, chairs, benches, electric fans, and daily newspapers are not adequate for the students. Certainly, these facilities will standardize our school more. Therefore we are requesting you to look into our issue and hope that you would be kind enough to increase these facilities and oblige thereby.
Yours faithfully

Subject: Open manholes on R S Road
Respected Sir/Ma’am,
I am Rathina Sabapathy, a resident of VKL Avenue. I am writing to throw some light on the issue of open manholes in our area.
It has been more than a period of 6 months now since these manholes were opened, and there have been multiple accidents due to this. We have approached the local authorities and associations in this regard, but no action has been taken so far, and it is becoming a matter of great worry. There are children who walk to school every day, and there are a lot of working people taking this route as it is a road that connects the main road to the Electronic City area where most of the IT companies are located.
Kindly consider this issue and highlight it in your newspaper so that the authorities are alerted about the need to look into this situation as soon as possible in order to reduce the number of casualties.
Thanking youThese types of letters are written to relatives or friends. These also can include invitations etc. Such kinds of letters are also known as personal letters or social letters. There is personal information or descriptions in these letters.

My dear Anshul
The Annual Prize-giving Function in our school was held at 4 p.m. yesterday. The District Education Officer presided over it as the chief guest. It was a highly colourful and interesting function.
Long before the Chief Guest arrived, the school hall was packed with guests and students. All stood up as a mark of respect to the Chief Guest. Our Principal then read out the annual report of school activities. Thereafter, the prizes were given away. I got a set of books as an academic prize. Then started the cultural program.
The chief guest delivered his speech. He advised us to do our best in life. Our Vice-Principal thanked the Chief Guest and the guardians. After the national anthem, the function came to an end. We enjoyed the function very much.
With regards and love
Yours sincerely
