CMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before starting with the application process, candidates must check out the minimum eligibility criteria, which they are supposed to meet to get considered for the exam.

• The candidates applying must be Indian citizens.
• The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university of the board.
• Final year students in their graduate courses (10+2+3) whose results will be announced before the start of the admission procedure can also apply.

CMAT exam will be conducted in an online mode (computer-based test) and candidates appearing in the exam have to solve 100 questions (each section carries 20 questions) within 3 hours.

CMAT 2023 Syllabus consists of several topics including Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and Language Comprehension. Each section carries an equal number of questions, so candidates must focus on all the subjects equally to get a good score.

• Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation: Speed, Time and Distance, Percentages, Averages, Ratio and Proportion, Profit, Tables, Bar Graphs, Line Charts, Venn Diagrams, Pie Chart, etc.
• Logical Reasoning: Logical Sequence, Data Structure, Number and Letter Series, Binary Logic, Direction Sense, Clocks & Calendars, Puzzles, Syllogism, Seating Arrangement, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, etc.

Admit Card

CMAT Admit Card 2023 will be published online tentatively in January 2023. There is also the facility of providing admit cards to the candidates who have successfully submitted their application form at their registered Email ID. The candidates must carry their admit card while going for the exam, else they will not be permitted to sit in the examination.

• Now candidates are supposed to enter their application ID and password or date of birth

Result

The exam authority releases CMAT result in February. The candidates can refer to the official website for checking their scores, the results will be made available in an online mode. CMAT score will be considered for admission to the academic year, which is taken into consideration by different AICTE-Approved colleges/institutions/Universities. The candidates can easily download their scorecards and can take a printout of it.

Selection Process 2023

Every participating college in CMAT releases its CMAT cut-off post the announcement of the results and conducts its own CMAT selection process for MBA admissions. CMAT selection process is divided into various parts including Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interviews (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds, based on which the final admission list is prepared.

Counselling 2023

CMAT counseling process will start after the declaration of the merit list. A merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the exam, the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. Based on the marks in CMAT scorecard, candidates can appear in the counseling conducted by different institutions and universities. It is mandatory to bring all the required documents and pay the fees at the time of counseling. Seats will be allotted to the shortlisted candidates based on their CMAT scores, filled choices & availability of seats.
