The following information is to illustrates how to apply for UPPSC PCS 2025Application Form. You must go through these points before applying:

• UPPSC Application Form  2025 will be made available only through online mode.
• Visit the official site that is uppsc.up.nic.in
• Read complete information given in UP PCS  2025 Notification.
• On the main home page find the link to the Application Form.
• Click on the ‘Apply Online link.
• A new window will open in which candidates will have to choose the language in which they want to view the advertisement.
• Fill in all the Basic details in the Registration forms like the name of the candidates or parents, category, gender, address, and other contact details for communication purposes (phone number and email ID).
• Check whether all the information filled is correct or not.
• The email id and contact number provided by the candidate must be valid.
• Upload scanned photo and signature in prescribed size and format.
• Submit the application fee as asked. The application fee will be different according to the category.

Uttar Pradesh PCS  2025 Eligibility Criteria

There are some eligibility criteria that candidates must have to fulfill to be eligible to apply for the UP PCS examination. The eligibility criteria have been given as follows:

• You must be a citizen of India.
• You must also have the domicile of Uttar Pradesh
• You must have done Graduate/Post Graduate/Diploma or equivalent from a recognized university.
• The age of the candidates must be between 21 - 40 years.
• The candidates of the reserved category will be provided relaxation in their upper age.

UPPCS prescribed examination is divided into stages of an exam with three different categories.

• Preliminary Exam

Uttar Pradesh PCS Preliminary Exam Pattern

• The first stage of the exam is the Preliminary examination
• There will be two question papers in the UPPSC preliminary exam
• The type of question asked in the exam will be an objective type.
• In this exam there will be negative marking, 1/3rd of marks will be deducted for every incorrect attempt.

UPPCS Main Exam Pattern

• The second phase is the main exam which only those candidates will be called for who qualifies for the preliminary exam.
• The main exam will consist of eight question papers.
• The questions will be descriptive type in the main exam.
• The first two papers would include General studies-type questions.
• The other four question papers have two optional subjects in which students will have to opt from the list of subjects mentioned in the authorized notification.
• Candidates will write three essays further in the essay paper.
• The mode of language will be both languages i.e. Hindi or English.

UPPCS Personality Test (Viva Voce)

• The UPPSC UPPCS examination's final stage is the personality test, which carries a significant weightage of 100 marks and plays a crucial role in determining the candidate's final rank. This test primarily focuses on current events and the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submitted during the main examination.
• The personality test takes place at the UPPSC office premises, and candidates must travel to Prayagraj to participate. Following the completion of the personality test, the UPPSC will announce the results, leading to the candidate's selection.

Uttar Pradesh PCS 2025 Interview

The last stage is that of the interview the candidates’ qualifying mains exam will be called for interview. The interview has not been prescribed any stable syllabus and pattern/process of the interview. He/she has to practice by himself without depending on others.

Uttar Pradesh PCS Admit Card

• The UP PCS 2025 Admit Card will be accessible on the official site.
• Separate admit cards will be released for preliminary and main exam
• The Admit Card of UP PCS 2025will contain all information about the examination like the reporting time and the date-venue of the examination.
• The candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the Admit Card.
• The admit card can be downloaded from the official website.
• Also, bring a minimum of one valid photo ID proof to the examination venue.

Uttar Pradesh PCS Answer Key

UPPSC 2025answer key (tentative) can be used by candidates to verify their responses and determine their results after the exam will be over. Before the conclusion of the exam process, the commission does not issue the definitive answer key. After the final outcome, the last answer key is made public.

The Commission publishes the provisional answer key following the Preliminary exam. The candidates are allowed to object and offer corrections (if any) to the question or the Commission's response. The Commission creates a committee to look through the candidate's objections. It suggests making the necessary adjustments to the provisional UPPSC answer key.

Uttar Pradesh PCS Result

Once the entire examination process is over, the UP State Commission releases the result after every stage. The candidates need to download the result pdf to check whether they have qualified for the exam.
