Describe An Interesting Neighbor - Speaking for IELTS PDF Download

You should say:

  • Who this person is
  • How you know this person
  • What this person likes to do
  • And explain why you think this neighbor is interesting.

Sample Answer:

  • I would like to admit that I am fortunate enough to live in an area that is surrounded by helpful and wonderful people. Durjoy, one of my neighbours, is always willing to help everybody.
  • Durjoy lives in the house next to mine. We came to know each other while walking in the colony’s park. Initially, we didn’t talk much. After about 2 weeks, we started staying back in the park after walking for an hour or so. That is when we began talking about ourselves.
  • Observing his behaviour, I realised that he was extremely friendly with children playing in the park and helpful towards the senior citizens.
  • The more I got to know Durjoy, the more I started to admire him. Even though he works in a corporate company and stays busy most of the time, I have never seen him frowning on anybody. His perspective made me realise how beautiful it is to see life through rose coloured glasses. He lives with a motto to help others.
  • During the weekends, he always visits the orphanage to teach children. One thing is for sure that I can depend on him, regardless of the hour.
