Detailed Summary
Once upon a time, there was a man named Robinson Crusoe. He was born in a city called York in England in the year 1632. Robinson's father was a wealthy man who wanted him to become a lawyer, but Robinson had other ideas. He dreamt of becoming a sailor and going to sea. One day, while he was in Hull, a friend who was sailing to London invited him to join. Against his father's advice, Robinson boarded the ship. During the journey to London, a terrible storm hit, wrecking the ship. Robinson and the crew barely survived.
Robinson then met a ship's master who traded to Africa and offered him a chance to join his voyages, which Robinson accepted eagerly. However, another storm struck, tossing the ship around until they hit a sandbank. In a moment of despair, they launched a boat, but Robinson was thrown against a rock by strong waves. Despite being unconscious for a while, he managed to reach the mainland safely. Once there, he searched for his companions but found none. Hungry and tired, he rested in a tree for the night. The next morning, Robinson saw the ship off the shore. He swam to it, salvaging provisions and building a raft. With this raft, he managed to bring supplies ashore. After exploring the island, he realized he was on an uninhabited island. He then built a shelter using sails from the ship, creating a fortress for safety. Robinson discovered he was not alone on the island; he had a dog, two cats, and a parrot for company.
To survive, he hunted goats for food, eventually breeding them for a steady supply. He also made clothes from animal skins and even crafted an umbrella. As time passed, he decided to build a canoe to explore the island further. After facing a storm at sea, he returned to shore, deciding not to risk his life in the small vessel again. Robinson Crusoe's journey on the island was filled with challenges, but his determination and resourcefulness helped him survive and adapt to his new life. In this way, Robinson Crusoe's adventure on the deserted island began, where he faced many challenges and used his skills and intelligence to overcome them, showing resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.
