Diary writing is the writing down of events, transactions and observations in a highly personalized manner. It is wrapped around creative thoughts and is basically the outpouring of what one feels or has experienced with regard to a particular stimulus. A diary can be written on a daily basis or at intervals, depending on the inclination of the writer.
A diary is a personal document that records an individual’s account of an incident or a day in their. life. A diary keeps track of an individual’s past and their dreams and hopes about the future. One can tell a diary all that one cannot tell anyone else. One can pour all of one’s feelings into it. One can make predictions about what will happen and see if they come true, and can see how one has changed over time, and read and enjoy their memories.
When you write a diary, you must remember the following points:

9.00 pmToday I had the bitterest experience of my life. I never had such an awful experience in my life before. I had gone to Agra for some urgent business. There were very few buses plying today as most of them had been put on election duty. I waited for two hours at the bus stop when the bus arrived, it was very crowded. I somehow managed to get some space for myself. It was really difficult to breathe. Everyone was sweating. People were pushing each other. After the journey of two hours, I came out of the bus and took a sigh of relief.
I'll never forget this journey in my life. Yogesh

Dear Diary,
Just a week ago, I felt very lonely and lost in this new boarding school. But now, I am glad to say that I have made some good friends. Sudha is one of my friends, and I think she is a very reliable person. Even though she is a day scholar, she makes time to visit me in my hostel room. Ramini is my next-door neighbour in the hostel, and we get along well. We often go to the mess together for our meals. I enjoy her company as she is quite chatty and we have fun gossiping. Another friend of mine is Komal, who is a year senior to me and also a day scholar. She is very encouraging and I find her company very pleasant.
Sincerely,
Suman
