The Clever Fox: The Fox and The Crow/Once there was a fox. It was very hungry. It went here and there in search of food. It saw a crow in a tree. It had a piece of bread in its beak. The fox went there. She said, "O, crow, your voice is very sweet. Please sing me a song". The foolish crow was very happy. It opened its beak to sing. The piece of bread fell down. The fox took it and ran away. The crow was very sad.
Moral : Keep away from false praises.

Two Friends and A Bear : Once upon a time there were two friends. They were going through a forest. They promised to help one another. After some time they saw a big bear coming to them. One friend ran and climbed up a tree. The other friend lay down on the ground. The bear came to him. It smelled him. It thought that he was dead. So it went away. The other friend came down and asked, "What did the bear say in your ear?" He said, "The bear told me never trust a false friend." His friend was ashamed.
Moral: Never trust false friends.

Once the sun and the wind had a quarrel. Each boasted that he was stronger than the other. They decided to come to a conclusion by taking a test.
A traveler was passing by. He was wearing a coat. The sun and the wind challenged each other as to who succeeded in making the traveler take off his coat.
The wind blew harder and harder. The traveler held on to his coat. Then the sun grew stronger and stronger. Feeling hot, the traveler finally took off his coat. The sun won and the wind stood defeated.  Moral: Gentleness is better than force.
