We often witness someone from our batch getting recommended, which leads to judgments like, "How did they get recommended?" or "They got recommended? Now I won't attend SSB interviews again." Instead of judging others, we should focus on evaluating our own performance. SSB doesn't guarantee success after several attempts. If you perform according to the desired standards, you can succeed in the first attempt.
• If you're a fresher, you have a good chance to showcase your talent and desire to join the forces. Performing at the expected level increases your chances. Coaching in a reputable institute can be helpful, despite concerns about losing originality. It's important to analyze and adapt what you learn to your own style. Simply copying coaching methods won't guarantee success. Coaching is highly beneficial for freshers when provided by experienced individuals.
• Repeater friends, analyze your past performances, identify mistakes, and practice diligently. Understand what the assessors want. Repeaters can crack the code of SSB because they have an idea of the preferred candidate profile. Don't attend the next SSB interview without knowing your weaknesses and what you need to improve.

If you've made 5-6 attempts without success, the reason may be weak psychology. You might not know how to approach the psychology test, perhaps writing something fake or trying to project qualities you don't possess. It's also possible that your psychology is fine, but you struggle with the GTO (Group Testing Officer). Regardless, the main issue lies with psychology because psychologists don't take chances on doubtful candidates. Impressing the psychologist is not easy.
