His father wished to had a cup of sake, a heart-warming drink, which is very expensive though Taro worked very hard, he could not earn much money as he required to have so, he was unable to pay the price for the drink his father wished to.

Ans: 
Taro could not remember ever seeing or hearing a rushing stream in the part where he work in the forest. Though, he was very thirsty, he left his axe and ran towards the direction of the sound where it was coming from.

A long procession of visitors were gathered in front of Taro’s house, as the lady spread the news of the magic waterfall. Each villager proceed to his house, heard the story from taro and took a sip of the sake.

Taro was rewarded with twenty pieces of gold for his kindness and love towards his old parents by the emperor of Japan. Further the emperor also named the most beautiful fountain in the city as Taro, because to encourage all the children to honour and obey their parents like Taro.

Ans: 
The neighbors were pleased to hear the story of the magic waterfall from Taro and decided to get some sake for themselves too. So they went carrying pitchers, jars, buckets, etc to hold the magic sake. As one villager knelt down and held his mouth to drink from the waterfall, he found nothing but water and that made the whole villager angry with Taro because they thought Taro had fooled them with the sake.

The magic waterfall gave taro a sake because he was a very thoughtful and caring son. He always worried for his old parents how to give everything that they required. So, the sake was a reward for his kindness towards his old parents.

He hide himself behind the rock because all the villagers were looking for him, as they thought Taro had fooled them with the magic waterfall. Thus, the villagers decided to drown him in the waterfall, and so this made taro hide behind a rock.

His old father was very delighted and happy with the sake he brought. As the old man swallowed once of the drink, he stopped shivering and also danced a little in the middle of the floor with Joy.

Taro was very sad after his father’s wish so, he decided to work harder than ever before. He woke up earlier than usual time and made his way to the forest. He chopped more and more woods just thinking of the extra money he could earn to buy the drink for his old father.
