Shortcut formula: The total number of person is = Position of Rahul from one of the ends + Number of persons are there in the opposite direction of Rahul = 33 + 16 = 49

Que 2: In a group of 105 students, Ravi’s rank is 36th from the top and Sarika’s rank is 41th from the bottom. How many students are there in between Ravi and Sarika (if no two persons got the same rank)?

Sol: Here, the number of students is greater than the sum of the ranks of Ravi and Sarika.
