Inferred Meaning Rules


  • Sometimes there may be various choice that looks like associating with the statement or the argument, or even appears to be slightly supported by the passage.
    However, only one option will be the most logical and supported. Therefore, do not fall for half the right option early on.
  • Skimming the passage means to read and understand the useful information correctly. Acquire the author’s ideas and opinions and skip the other given details.
    There will always be some connection between the paragraphs, mostly with the essential impression of the paragraph.
  • Carefully observe the words such as but, except, and not as they are important for answers. Paraphrasing the question is always a good idea that will help in acquiring the correct answer.
  • Always choose to read the options first and then other details in the paragraph. It will help in saving time. Also the idea will be developed on what is going to be there in the paragraph. As the correct answer comes from 2-3 sentences information.
    Therefore, it will help in understanding which option supports the paragraph.
  • Remove the obviously incorrect options as that will take you more close to the correct answer.
    You should know how to avoid the wrong things such as if, in any option, you see a repeat or rephrase information from the passage then that is wrong.
  • Words such as, never, any, always, none, and all should be clearly watched.
    Such words are comprehensive which should rarely get support.

  • It is also known as the special ability of a reader to read the lines which are not specifically mentioned. Also inference questions are likely to check you to make a logical conclusion that is disguised but still there in the passage.
  • Such questions develop an inference in reading. For deriving inference from the paragraph it is essential to understand the meaning of passage even though the whole information is not given.
  • The paragraph will provide you information about the types, design, time period and situation with some hints. The reader has to understand the provided hints and draw conclusions based on the given information and knowledge.

Questions based on coding and number series becomes complex because of several reasons:

  • The rule followed by the sequence becomes less significant.
  • The complexity of a question increases if the question has a longer sequence.
  • If the missing term is present in the initial part, it gives less information about the hidden rule.
