Following are the health related schemes by the Government of Haryana:

Limited Cashless Medical Services Scheme

  • Initiated in 2017, the scheme aims to offer cashless medical services to government employees and pensioners.
  • It ensures cashless treatment for all regular state employees and pensioners, covering conditions such as heart attacks, accidents, advanced stages of cancer, coma, cerebral hemorrhage, and electrocution.
  • Implementation of the scheme spans across government medical colleges, government-aided medical colleges, district hospitals, and affiliated private hospitals under the Haryana Government.

Mission Indradhanush

  • Commencing from Panipat on April 7, 2015, this scheme aims to maintain the health and wellness of children in Haryana.
  • Within this initiative, children receive seven vaccines targeting diseases like diphtheria, tetanus, polio, tuberculosis, measles, hepatitis-B, jaundice, and tuberculosis (TB).

Jeevan Rekha Yojana

  • Initiated in 2013 for Hepatitis-C patients, initially, only Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes received free medicines under this scheme. However, from 2017 onwards, this assistance expanded to include all categories of people.
  • The State Government facilitates Hepatitis-C virus screening and treatment across 21 district hospitals within the state as part of this scheme.

Nehru Drishti Yojana

  • Launched by the State Government on January 26, 2010.
  • The primary aim of this scheme is to promote eye donation within the state and ensure the availability of corneas for individuals affected by blindness.

Indira Bal Swasthya Yojana

  • Commenced in 2010, this scheme conducts health check-ups for children up to 18 years old within their schools.
  • It involves creating health cards for children and providing them with free treatment at government hospitals.

Chief Minister Free Treatment Scheme

  • Offers free and high-quality medical services to all residents of the state.
  • Services encompass surgeries, laboratory tests, outpatient department services, diagnostic procedures, medications, and transportation between hospitals.

e-Upchaar

  • This scheme digitally connects all district civil hospitals.
  • Implemented across 17 civil hospitals and 2 medical colleges in the state, it aims to streamline and digitize hospital services.

The State Government has launched many schemes related to insurance in Haryana which are as follows:

Chief Minister Merchant Collective Private Accident Insurance Scheme

  • Launched in 2019, this scheme offers a 5 lakh insurance cover to registered small and medium traders.
  • Targeting merchants, retailers, small shopkeepers, and the self-employed, it covers death in accidents, permanent disabilities, and injuries to specific body parts or eyes.

Chief Minister Merchant Compensation Insurance Scheme

  • Also initiated in 2019, this scheme provides compensation ranging from 500,000 to 2,500,000 based on the turnover for business retailers, small shopkeepers, and self-employed individuals.
  • It compensates for losses of stock, furniture, and other goods due to events like fire, earthquake, flood, or theft.

Rajiv Gandhi Parivar Bima Yojana

  • Launched on April 1, 2006, this scheme by the State Government offers social security.
  • It provides 1 lakh for accidental death or permanent disability for individuals aged 18-60.
  • Compensation includes 50,000 for loss of two limbs, two eyes, one limb, or one eye, and 25,000 for the loss of a single limb or eye.

Devi Rakshak Yojana (Devilal Jansuraksha Bima Yojana)

  • Launched on October 2, 2003, by the Haryana Government, it provides compensation to affected families.
  • It offers 1 lakh compensation for the death or permanent disablement of the sole earner, 50,000 for the loss of any two body parts, and 25,000 for the loss of any one body part.

Surakshit Bhavishya Yojana

  • Aimed at the welfare of anganwadi workers and helpers, this scheme involves investing 100 monthly in LIC for an anganwadi worker.
  • It provides 50,000 to the family of an anganwadi worker in case of their sudden demise.
