Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern 2023

The Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern comprises 3 stages, with two written test stages. Below, you will find a detailed overview of the exam pattern and marking scheme for all three stages:

Stage 1: Bihar Police SI Preliminary Exam Pattern

The preliminary exam for Bihar Police SI Recruitment consists of two sections: Current Events and General Knowledge and Awareness. The exam pattern is as follows:

• Current Events
  • No. of Questions: 100
  • Marks: 200
  • Duration: 120 minutes
• General Knowledge and Awareness

Note: Candidates scoring below 30% in Prelims will not qualify for the mains. Additionally, there is a deduction of 0.2 marks in both preliminary and main exams.

Stage 2: Bihar Police SI Mains Exam Pattern

For the mains exam, candidates equal to 20 times the notified vacancies will participate. The main exam consists of 200 questions, each carrying 2 marks. Each section has a duration of 120 minutes. Section 1 covers General Hindi, while Section 2 includes subjects related to General Studies.
