Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates must carry the printed copy of the admit card along with one photo-identity proof.
  • The admit card for the prelims exam will not be collected at the exam center. Candidates are required to bring the prelims admit card and an authenticated photo identity proof when appearing for the mains exam.
  • Candidates should arrive at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the admit card.
  • Rough sheets will be provided at the desk of each candidate. No additional sheets will be given during the exam.
  • After the exam, candidates must drop the rough sheets in the designated boxes at the exit of the lab/venue.
  • Candidates need to affix a recent colored passport-size photograph at the designated space on the admit card.
  • It is mandatory for candidates to write their name, roll number, registration number, and signature on the photocopy of the ID proof.
  • Prohibited items inside the exam center include stationery items such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc.
  • Communication devices like mobile phones, bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, etc., are strictly not allowed inside the exam center.
  • Other items prohibited from the exam center include goggles, handbags, hairpins, hairbands, belts, caps, any watch/wristwatch, cameras, any metallic item, opened or packed food items, water bottles (only transparent bottles are allowed), etc.
  • Candidates are advised against wearing ornaments such as rings, earrings, nose-pins, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches, etc.
