The CG TET Exam Pattern 2023 is designed to assess the skills and knowledge of aspiring teachers in Chhattisgarh. It consists of two papers, Paper I and Paper II, catering to different levels of teaching. Paper I is for those aiming to teach classes 1 to 5, while Paper II is for candidates aspiring to teach classes 6 to 8. The exam consists of various subjects including Language, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Students are required to answer objective or multiple-choice questions at a Class 12 level. Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark, with no negative marking for incorrect responses.
CG TET 2023 Exam will be conducted in offline mode or pen and paper mode. It consists of a total of two papers which are- Paper I and Paper-II. In 2023, the examination will be held in two consecutive shifts. The first shift is for teachers of Class I to V from 09:30 am to 12:15 pm, and the second shift is for teachers of Class VI to VIII from 02:00 pm to 04:45 pm. CG TET Exam Paper I will last for a duration of 2.5 hours. It will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying a single mark. Importantly, there will be no penalty for incorrect answers or unanswered questions.
