Introduction

The OTET exam pattern for the year 2023 is set by the BSE Odisha. It varies for Paper 1 and Paper 2, depending on the classes the candidates aim to teach.

Differentiation of Paper 1 and Paper 2

Candidates are required to take Paper 1 to teach Classes 1-5 and Paper 2 for Classes 6-8. The structure and subjects covered differ between the two papers.

Marking Scheme

One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam.

The question paper for OTET 2023 Paper 2 will contain 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours.

Important Information for TET 2024 Exam

Note:

• Out of 'Mathematics & Science' and 'Social Studies', candidates need to attempt questions from any one subject area.

• In each subject area, 20 questions will be from contents and 10 questions from Pedagogy.

• Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer.
