Namasthe Telangana

  • Namasthe Telangana is an Indian Telugu-language daily newspaper published from Hyderabad, Telangana. It was launched on June 6, 2011, with a primary focus on politics and developments in Telangana State. The newspaper is owned by Telangana Publications Pvt. Ltd.
  • The newspaper started in June 2011 with Allam Narayana as Editor in Chief at Telangana Bhavan, the TRS party headquarters. Katta Shekar Reddy, the CEO and senior journalist of the company, later became the editor of the paper. The chairmanship transitioned from C. L. Rajam to Divakonda Damodar Rao.

Vaartha

  • Vaartha is a Telugu newspaper headquartered in Hyderabad, India. The word "Vaartha" translates to "news" in Telugu.
  • Launched in 1996, Vaartha was the first Telugu daily in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to utilize Information Technology for news publishing, allowing for news updates as late as 4 a.m. Initially a strong competitor to Eenadu and Udayam, Vaartha's circulation is now smaller compared to other newspapers like Eenadu, Sakshi, or Andhra Jyothy. It is produced by A.G.A Publications, owned by Gireesh Kumar Sanghi's Hyderabad-based Sanghi Group.

Visalaandhra

  • Visalaandhra is a Telugu-language daily newspaper that was established in Vijayawada 63 years ago, on June 22, 1952. It was formerly known as Prajasakti but was renamed by the state Communist party to Visalaandhra, signifying the desire for a single state for Telugu-speaking people. 
  • The newspaper played a significant role in advocating for the formation of Andhra Pradesh and opposed both the 1969 Separate Telangana movement and the 1972 Jai Andhra movement. It is currently published from seven centers and celebrated its diamond jubilee in 2012.

Rahnuma e Deccan

  • The Rahnuma-E-Deccan Daily is an Indian newspaper that is published in Hyderabad, Telangana, and is written in the Urdu language. 
  • Established in 1921, the newspaper was founded by Syed Lateef Uddin Qadri.

The Siasat Daily

  • Siasat is an Urdu language newspaper based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. 
  • Established in 1949, its Editor in Chief is Nawab Zahid Ali Khan.

Praja Shakthi

  • Prajashakti, also spelled as Prajasakti, is a Telugu newspaper published in Andhra Pradesh, India, under the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI (M)]. It was launched as a daily newspaper in 1981, with Vijayawada as its center. 
  • Presently, it is published from nine centers or editions across Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Khammam, Kurnool, Rajahmundry, Srikakulam, Karimnagar, and Ongole. With over 100 primary news-gathering centers across the state, Prajasakti has expanded significantly and is now the largest circulated progressive daily among Telugu newspapers. 
  • On its 20th anniversary, Prajasakti launched its online edition, bridging the gap for readers beyond its traditional reach in the global world.

The Hans India

  • The Hans India is an English-language daily newspaper published from Hyderabad, Telangana.
  • It has a presence in the Indian States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
  • Founded in 2011, The Hans India belongs to Hyderabad Media House, which also owns the Telugu-language news channel HMTV.

Krishna Patrika

  • Krishna Patrika is a Telugu-language newspaper founded by Indian freedom fighter, Konda Venkatappayya. It began its publication journey on 2 February 1902 as a weekly magazine, with Venkatappayya and Vasu Narayana Rao as its founders. Venkatappayya served as the editor until 1905 when he entrusted the editorial responsibilities to Mutnuri Krishna Rao upon relocating to Guntur.
  • During the Indian Freedom Movement, the vernacular press played a crucial role in mobilizing the masses for the cause of independence. Newspapers in both English and regional languages across the country fostered patriotic sentiments, courage, and a spirit of sacrifice. 
  • In the Andhra region, Krishna Patrika emerged as a leading voice in the Telugu language, alongside Andhra Patrika. These newspapers, initiated in the early 20th century, continued their contribution to the freedom struggle until India gained independence.

Eenadu

  • Eenadu, meaning "Today" or "This country" in Telugu, is the largest circulated Telugu-language daily newspaper in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India. Founded by Indian media mogul Ramoji Rao in 1974, Eenadu has grown rapidly over the years. According to the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) Q1 2012, it ranks sixth among Indian language dailies, boasting a total readership (TR) of 5,906,000.
  • Eenadu's expansion has led to diversification across various sectors. It has ventured into finance and chit funds with Margadarsi Chits, food products under Priya Foods, film production through Usha Kiran Films, film distribution via Mayuri Films, and a group of television channels known as ETV. These diverse businesses are all part of the Ramoji Group, providing a wide range of services and entertainment options to the public.
